Alejandra Silva is a publicist and activist who got into the spotlight after marrying Richard Gere. Hailing from Spain, she studied at a school in Dorset and proceeded with getting a degree in advertising and marketing in her homeland.
Silva now collaborates with Rais Foundation that aspires to end homelessness in Spain. Moreover, she was associated with various non-profit initiatives, including Karolina Kurkova’s Beautiful Life Fund.
Alejandra was a wife of businessman Govind Friedland, a father of her son Albert born in 2012, but the marriage was dissolved in 2015. She first met Gere being a child as he was a family friend. However, they fell in love with each other in 2014 after the actor visited a hotel owned by the girl’s family. Despite the 34-year age gap, Richard espoused Silva on April 18, 2018. They welcomed son Alexander in 2019. And in a year, the family was expanded by another baby boy, whose name wasn’t revealed.
A curious fact: though she was raised Catholic, Alejandra converted to Buddhism for Gere.
