Annie Costner is the firstborn of Kevin Costner and Cindy Costner. As a child, she tried to follow in her dad’s footsteps and made an acting debut in his film Dances with Wolves in 1990. Afterwards, she had parts in The Postman, Ponytail, The Baby-Sitters Club and Waterworld movies.
Today, Annie prefers working behind the camera. In 2015, she directed The Discarded: A Tale of Two Rios documentary along with producing several projects. She is also a co-owner of Sound Off Films, a company focused on documentary and non-fiction storytelling ventures. What’s interesting, some sources state that Costner is also a realtor at Sotheby’s International.
Since she was a little girl, Annie Costner has appeared at various events alongside her stellar dad. For instance, she and her sister Lily supported Kevin at 2004 Golden Globes and 2013 SAG Awards.
On July 16, 2016, Annie tied knots with doctor Danny Cox at her dad’s estate in California. Of course, Kevin walked her down the aisle.
