Ashley Olsen, one of the famed Olsen twins, started her acting career at 9 months when she gained her debut TV part in Full House. The sisters often shared the screen and were noted for starring together in Our Lips Are Sealed, Winning London, Holiday in the Sun, Getting There plus New York Minute films. They also appeared in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
Along with acting, Ashley and her sibling dealt with movies production and actually served as producers for some of their projects. The peak of their popularity was in the late 1990s-early 2000s. Between 2000 and 2005, they even served as an inspiration for Mattel dolls.
Ashley Olsen appeared solo in The Jerk Theory and I’m Still Here movies before deciding to proceed with the career in fashion industry in 2012. Actually, she and her sibling established their brand The Row in 2006 following an aspiration to design an ideal T-shirt. That year, they also became the faces of a collection by Badgley Mischka.
Later, Ashley and Mary-Kate created other clothing lines titled Elizabeth and James, Olsenboye plus StyleMint. In 2012, they were honored with Innovator of The Year Award by WSJ magazine. And in 2013, their first fragrance was released. Moreover, the siblings were co-authors of book Influence, consisting of interviews with noted clothes designers.
Additionally, Ashley shares some awards with her twin, comprising 4 Young Artist and 2 Kids’ Choice Awards along with 5 prizes from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
Ashley is romantically linked to painter Louis Eisner. By the way, one of Eisner’s paintings was bought by Ivanka Trump in 2013. The couple prefers not to share the details of their relationship, but they were reported to start dating in 2017 after being friends for some time. In October 2017, they were first spotted together at the Hammer Museum’s Gala in the Garden.
A curious fact: once, Ashley did a facelift surgery which went wrong. Her face began to swell and blacken a couple of days after the operation. As a result, she had to undergo oxygen therapy.
