Blue Ivy Carter is the firstborn of Beyonce and Jay-Z. She attracted the public attention before being born as her mother revealed the news about her pregnancy after finishing her performance at 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. That announcement got to the Guinness World Book of Records for most tweets per second.
Blue Ivy adores singing, dancing and performing. You can hear her voice in Jay-Z’s track Legacy as well as in Beyonce’s single Glory. The latter made the girl the youngest chartered recording artist as the song got to the Billboard’s Chart. She also appeared in her mom’s music video Blue.
In infancy, Blue toured with her mother. Now, she regularly accompanies her parents to various red carpet events and really steals the show by her memorable outfits, which sometimes twin Beyonce’s looks.
In 2019, Blue earned the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award at Sunday’s Soul Train Awards for co-authoring her mom’s single Brown Skin Girl. Moreover, that song brought them a nomination for NAACP Image Awards.
A curious fact: despite her young age, Blue already has a personal stylist.
