LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. is the firstborn of NBA player LeBron James and Savannah Brinson who drew his first breath when his famed dad was 19. His godfather is another basketball star, Chris Paul.
It’s absolutely unsurprising that Bronny got engaged into sports in early childhood and trained in both soccer and basketball before concentrating on the latter. He represented different teams of the AAU and gained various titles at middle school. Since 2019, he has been playing for Sierra Canyon High School in California.
The NBA legend calls Bronny an heir to the throne and admits that his jump is better. In December 2019, he was a witness of his kid’s first MVP title when Bronny scored 15 points and gained a victory over LeBron’s alma mater, St. Vincent–St. Mary High School.
By the way, Bronny James initially wore the number 0 jersey in honor of his idol Russell Westbrook but later substituted it with number 23 to celebrate the greatness of his dad.
A curious fact: James reveals that he regrets naming Bronny after him because of the expectations that come with being his son.
