Prior to becoming a Hollywood star, Bruce Willis tried his hand at various jobs and even was a private investigator. He got engaged into acting in the 1970s and started his career with stage performances. In 1978, Bruce was extra for Ziegfeld: The Man and His Women and got his first lead part in 1987 movie Blind Date.
Willis rose to prominence in the 1980s after starring in Moonlighting television series, which brought him a Golden Globe. However, he later concentrated on his movie career and starred in Die Hard, Hudson Hawk, Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, The Whole Nine Yards, Red and a vast number of other successful films. He made a Broadway debut in 2015 production of Misery.
Moreover, Bruce Willis deals with movies production and even ran production company Cheyenne Enterprises in 2000-2007. He produced The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, Hostage and A Good Day to Die Hard.
Bruce’s other passion is music. In 1987, he presented his debut album The Return of Bruno. It was followed by two more albums. Additionally, the action films star is an entrepreneur. He is engaged in several business ventures, including Planet Hollywood restaurant.
On November 21, 1987, Willis espoused Ghost star Demi Moore. In 1988, their elder daughter Rumer drew her first breath. In 1991, she was joined by sister Scout and in 1994, the family expanded by one more girl named Tallullah. In 2000, the celebrities’ marriage was dissolved, but they remained good friends and even visited each other’s weddings. On March 21, 2009, Bruce tied knots with model Emma Heming. In 2012 and in 2014, they welcomed their daughters Mabel and Evelyn.
A curious fact: Bruce suffered from severe stutter in childhood. However, he got rid of it by accident: he auditioned for a part in a school play and his stutter stopped as soon as he took the stage.
