Prior to becoming a Hollywood star, Bruce Willis tried his hand at various jobs and even was a private investigator. He got engaged into acting in the 1970s and started his career with stage performances. In 1978, Bruce was extra for Ziegfeld: The Man and His Women and got his first lead part in 1987 movie Blind Date.
Willis rose to prominence in the 1980s after starring in Moonlighting television series, which brought him a Golden Globe. However, he later concentrated on his movie career and starred in Die Hard, Hudson Hawk, Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, The Whole Nine Yards, Red and a vast number of other successful films. A curious fact: Bruce suffered from severe stutter in childhood. However, he got rid of it by accident: he auditioned for a part in a school play and his stutter stopped as soon as he took the stage.
