Candice Swanepoel is famed for her modeling work and being one of Victoria’s Secret Angels. She is one of top-earning representatives of the industry. In 2019, she earned Revolve Woman of the Year award.
Having Dutch roots, Candice was brought up in South Africa by farmer Willem and aerobics trainer Eileen alongside older brother Stephen, who is now a professional golfer. In 2007, Swanepoel joined Victoria’s Secret and in 2010, she officially became the brand’s Angel. Candice Swanepoel is also a businesswoman. In 2018, she established swimwear brand Tropic of C. Additionally, the celebrity is a philanthropist who works with various organizations. For instance, she is an ambassador for mothers2mothers, a charity aspiring to achieve a healthy generation of kids and moms in Africa.
In 2005, Candice got romantically involved with model Hermann Nicoli, who proposed to her in 2015. In 2016, they welcomed their firstborn, son Anacan. And in 2018, another baby boy named Ariel became the newest addition to the family. Unfortunately, Candice and Hermann called it quits in 2018.
A curious fact: Candice is a cousin of actresses Minka and Mila McConaughey.
