Chris Bosh is a former basketball player who was 11-time NBA All-Star. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Christopher Wesson Bosh was raised by Noel and Freida Bosh alongside brother Joel. Though he fell in love with basketball in early childhood, he also trained in karate, gymnastics and baseball.
After a successful high school career and winning Texas Mr. Basketball in 2002, Chris represented Georgia Tech’s Yellow Jackets along with studying graphic design and computer imaging there.
Bosh turned professional in 2004 after being selected by Toronto Raptors. Having broken many club’s records, he joined Miami Heat in 2010 forming the Big Three trio with Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. The athlete went on winning two NBA titles in 2012 and 2013. However, he had to leave sport in 2016 because of the blood clotting disorder. Chris tried to return but had to retire in 2019.
Playing for the United States internationally, Chris Bosh gained a victory at 2008 Olympics plus was a bronze medalist of 2006 World Championship and 2002 FIBA Americas U18.
In 2014, Chris tried his hand at voice acting in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. television series. Besides, he appeared on some other shows, including Entourage, Rosewood, Parks and Recreation. Additionally, the athlete runs a foundation helping young people in studies and athletics along with supporting various charitable campaigns and organizations.
In 2005-2008, Bosh was romantically linked to Allison Mathis. In 2008, the woman gave birth to his firstborn, daughter Trinity. On July 16, 2011, he tied knots with Adrienne Williams. Their son Jackson drew his first breath in 2012 and was followed by a baby girl named Dylan in 2013. In 2016, twin boys Phoenix and Lennox became the newest addition to the family.
A curious fact: Chris adores reading and encourages other people to follow his example. He frequently tells children about the benefits of this activity.
