Cori Broadus is the only daughter of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus. Being also the youngest artist’s child, she is often nicknamed as Choc and Poppy. At 6, Cori was diagnosed with lupus but managed to win the battle with the disease.
Cori has inherited her dad’s music talent and loves singing. She presented her debut song Do My Thang being only 13 years old and it was followed by a dozen other singles. Moreover, she had a duet song with her dad titled Daddy’s Girl and was featured on Snoop’s album No Guns Allowed in 2015. Cori studied at Ramón C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts and graduated in 2017.
Actually, Cori and Dogg are very close. The girl once shared a photo wearing a T-shirt with her father’s portrait while the rapper was proud to post a video of his daughter’s first performance on his Instagram. He also performed at Cori’s 16th birthday party.
Moreover, Cori appeared in her dad’s documentary Reincarnated and reality show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood. The girl often accompanies Snoop to various events. For instance, they were guests at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Cori shared that her father wouldn’t allow her to date boys until she turned 70. However, it was a joke as the celebrity’s daughter is already in a relationship.
A curious fact: in 2020, Cori was heavily criticized for tattooing the word Belle on her face.
