Daisy Bevan is a daughter of film producer Tim Bevan and television star Joely Richardson. While being her mom’s only child, she has paternal half-sister Nell and half-brother Jago from Tim’s marriage to Amy Gadne.
It was hard for Daisy to refrain from the career in the entertainment industry as almost each member of her family is a star. Being five years old, she made a movie debut in Elizabeth and at eight, she portrayed a young version of her mom in The Affair of the Necklace. Later, her parents wanted the girl to concentrate on her education at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and forbade acting till her graduation.
Having graduated, Daisy Bevan played in The Two Faces of January, One Crazy Thing and Noble Earth films. Simultaneously, she had parts in The Outcast and The Alienist television series. Additionally, Daisy appeared in Vanessa Redgrave’s documentary Sea Sorrow along with making a theater debut on London’s stage in The Picture of Dorian Gray. In 2019, she modeled for clothing brand Meme Chose.
A curious fact: in childhood, Daisy suffered from a rare circulatory disease that hurt her legs. At 15, she passed through several surgeries, causing Joely to take a one-year break from TV series Nip/Tuck.
