Daisy Lowe is a daughter of designer Pearl Lowe and music artist Gavin Rossdale. Till she turned 15, she thought that her dad was her mother’s first husband Bronner Handwerger. However, in 2004, after having a DNA test, she disclosed that Gavin, who was her godfather, is her biological dad.
Daisy got engaged into modeling being a little baby but her professional career started in teenage years. In 2006, she already appeared on the pages of Vogue Italia and Harper’s Bazaar. She did catwalk for Chanel, Agent Provocateur and many other famous brands along with cooperating with Marc Jacobs, DKNY plus Mango. Moreover, she advertised her mother’s line of lace gowns.
Lowe often appears on the pages of famous magazines like Marie Claire and GQ. She posed for Pirelli Calendar in 2010 plus Playboy in 2011.
Additionally, Lowe is a DJ and an actress. She appeared in Confine, Pressure and Tulip Fever films. In 2016, Daisy tried her dancing skills at Strictly Come Dancing. Moreover, she starred in BBC’s documentary Class of 2008 and MTV’s Daisy Lowe in 24 hours.
Daisy is very close with Pearl. In 2019, the mother and daughter launched their collection of bags, which is sold at Radley London as well as appeared together on the cover of Stella magazine.
Lowe has never been married yet. She dated singer Theo Hutchcraft, actor Matt Smith, music producer Mark Ronson and artist John Leigh. However, her relationships didn’t last very long.
A curious fact: Daisy loves Transcendental Meditation. She dedicates 20 minutes to it every morning and every evening no matter where she is. Lowe shares that she can meditate even in trains and planes.
