Undoubtedly, Daniel Tosh is a man of many talents. He is most famed for his witty sense of humor, amazing acting and hosting skills as well as for writing credits.
Though he drew his first breath in Germany, Tosh was raised in Florida alongside brother Andrew and two sisters, Melissa and Melinda. His father Daniel is a preacher while his mom Margo is a medical worker.
Daniel started his professional path with telemarketing and worked as a door-to-door salesman for Cutco knives before trying his hand at stand-up comedy. He made a breakthrough in 2001 after appearing on Late Show with David Letterman and proceeded with other shows on TV and radio. Tosh has created many specials for Comedy Central, including Completely Serious and Happy Thoughts. And in 2009, he launched his own project, Tosh.0.
Besides, Daniel Tosh is an actor. In 1998, he debuted in an episode of Sins of the City television series and in 2008, he appeared in The Love Guru film. Additionally, he served as an executive producer of Brickleberry series along with voicing its character Malloy.
In 2009-2010, Daniel was romantically linked to model Megan Abrigo. On April 15, 2016, he tied knots with writer/actress Carly Hallam. The spouses don’t have any kids yet.
A curious fact: it may sound very weird and surprising but Daniel suffers from social anxiety. Though he is afraid of performing in front of crowds, he decided to battle his phobias as his passion for standup was stronger.
