Darrell Jackson is a son of Ice Cube and Kimberly Woodruff. He decided to follow in his famed dad’s footsteps and tried his hand at music.
Using stage name DoughBoy, a tribute to Ice Cube’s character in Boyz n the Hood, Darrell and his elder brother O’Shea were featured on singles She Couldn’t Make It On Her Own and Y’all Know How I Am from their dad’s album I Am the West (2010). Additionally, he co-manages record company Lench Mob Records, established by Ice Cube.
As to his personal life, Darrell is currently dating a girl named Jay. On Valentine’s Day in 2020, he dedicated a touching post to her on his Instagram though he rarely posts something there.
A curious fact: Darrell is a basketball fan and considers Kobe Bryant to be his only role model outside of his family.
