Having worked with dozens of world-known stars, he dealt with the production of songs for Christina Aguilera, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Barbra Streisand. David earned 16 Grammys for his hard work.

David Foster was a co-creator of Grammy and Oscar-nominated single I Have Nothing for Whitney Houston, theme song for 1988 Winter Olympics titled Winter Games along with anthems for 1996 and 2002 Olympics called The Power of the Dream and Light the Fire Within. Moreover, he serves as a co-author for Stand Up for Love hymn to the World Children’s Day.

Being only 20 years old, David welcomed his firstborn Allison but he didn’t communicate with her for 30 years. In 1972-1981, he was a husband to composer B.J. Cook, a mother of his daughter Amy. In 1982, Foster tied knots with Rebecca Dyer. They gave birth to three girls: Sara, Erin and Jordan. However, their marriage was dissolved in 1986.

In 1991, David got hitched to Linda Thompson, but they got divorced after 14 years together. The artist’s fourth spouse was socialite Yolanda Hadid. They were married in 2011-2017. In 2019, he espoused Katharine McPhee famed for her participation in American Idol.

A curious fact: Celine Dion offered Foster to produce a theme song for Titanic but he refused.

El dato curioso es incorrecto. el productor musical y creador de my heart will go on es James Horner.
fue James Horner quien le ofrecio la cancion a Celine Dion y ella no queria cantarla hasta que la convencieron y lo demas es historia.
