Dean McDermott is a television personality who is also famed for being a husband of Beverly Hills star Tori Spelling. Hailing from Canada, he was raised by Doreen and David McDermott alongside sisters Dale, Dawn and Dana.
Dean debuted on the big screen in 1988 film Graveyard Shift II and proceeded with roles in Stepping Out, Iron Eagle IV, Kiss the Bride and Saving God. However, he is most recognized for his television appearances. After landing a part in his first television series My Secret Identity, McDermott gained fame for playing in Power Play, Earth: Final Conflict, Tracker, 1-800-Missing plus Slasher series.
Besides, Dean McDermott and his wife starred in several reality series, including Home Sweet Hollywood, Cabin Fever and True Tori. Additionally, the celebrity is a cook who hosted Chopped Canada show along with writing The Gourmet Dad cookbook.
On July 24, 1993, Dean espoused Mary Jo Eustace and in 1998, their son Jack drew his first breath. In 2005, McDermott got acquainted with Tori Spelling while working on Mind Over Murder film. Though they both weren’t single, they couldn’t resist the chemistry between them and got romantically involved.
After getting divorced, Dean and Tori tied the knot on May 7, 2006, in Fiji and in 2010, they had a vow renewal ceremony. In 2007, they welcomed their eldest son Liam. The spouses were blessed with four more kids: daughters Stella and Hattie, sons Finn and Beau.
Though Tori and Dean seem to be a perfect couple, the marriage of two celebrities has passed through some ups and downs. Thus, in 2014, McDermott admitted to cheating on Spelling. The spouses didn’t hide their problems from cameras and started working on their relationship instead of separating.
A curious fact: many of us have seen a Tori’s portrait tattooed on Dean’s arm. However, he also has a more intimate inking dedicated to her. In one of his interviews, the artist revealed that he had a tattoo with Tori’s name just above his penis.
