Ellie Harvey is most famed for being a spouse of golfer Jason Day. She drew her first breath in Lucas, Ohio, in the family of basketball and baseball coach Tom Harvey and Lucy Sanchez Knapp. She also has a brother named Clark.

Ellie suffered a concussion and left the game on a stretcher with a neck brace. The basketball star felt very guilty and publicly apologized for the incident.
