Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin is the firstborn of model Ashley Graham and her spouse Justin Ervin. The future parents announced the news about Ashley’s pregnancy by posting a funny video on Instagram on their 9th wedding anniversary, on August 14, 2019. In November, the celebrity announced that she was expecting a boy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
On February 4, 2020, the first photo of Isaac’s tiny hand appeared on Ashley’s Instagram. And soon, he appeared on his mother’s YouTube channel and podcast Pretty Big Deal. In that video, the happy parents shared that Ervin had chosen the name Isaac when he still studied at school. Also, his second name Menelik signifies son of the wise and was the name of the first Ethiopian emperor while Giovanni is an Italian version of name John, a nod to Ervin’s and Graham’s grandfathers.
Moreover, Ashley Graham said that she had a 6-hour all-natural home delivery in a birthing pool after her water broke during yoga.
