John Carroll Lynch is known for his acting talent. His career started at theater. In 1993, John debuted on a big screen in Grumpy Old Men but gained fame thanks to playing in 1996 film Fargo. Among his other credits are Face/Off, Gran Torino, Shutter Island, Ted 2, The Invitation, Camp X-Ray, Zodiac, The Founder and Anything. Moreover, in 2017, the star tried his hand at directing with a film titled Lucky.
Lynch first appeared on television in an episode of Frasier. However, he is most famed for having parts in Close to Home, Carnivàle, K-Ville, Body of Proof, Do No Harm, The Americans, One Dollar, Big Sky and American Horror Story.
John tied knots with actress Brenda Wehle in 1997. Though they have no kids together, the man has two stepdaughters named Emily and Sarah.
A curious fact: John’s father Daniel F. Lynch was a respected lawyer and served as an assistant Denver district attorney. One of his most famous cases was a civil action against Calvary Temple over allegations of fund-raising misconduct.
