Julia Carey got into the spotlight thanks to being a spouse of TV host James Corden. She started her career with acting and appeared in some television series, including Wings and Enemy at the Door. Afterwards, she decided to try her hand at television production. Additionally, Julia dedicates much time to philanthropy. For instance, she collaborated with Save the Children.
Carey and Corden got acquainted at a charity event in 2009 thanks to Preacher star Dominic Cooper, who was friends with both of them. Just after 90 minutes of communication, they started to plan their future together. And on 2010 Christmas, James popped the question after putting an engagement ring into Julia’s stocking.
The lovebirds tied knots on September 15, 2012, at a lavish event attended by many stars, including Natalie Imbruglia and Michael McIntyre. At that time, they already had their son Max. In 2014, they were blessed with daughter Carey and in 2017, a baby girl named Charlotte became the newest addition to the family.
Julia Carey prefers a low key living and isn’t active on social media. However, as a supportive wife, she attends a number of events with Corden. For instance, the spouses attended the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. What is more, in his 2012 Tony acceptance speech, James paid a tribute to Julia and their newborn son.
A curious fact: Julia has never watched the Gavin & Stacey series though it made James famous.
