Katie Rose Lucas is a daughter of George Lucas who was adopted by the Star Wars creator in 1988. She is very close with George and even served as a bridesmaid at his and Mellody Hobson’s nuptials.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Katie opted for the show business career like her famed father. Having inherited George’s writing talent, she wrote screenplays for some episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series.
Katie Rose Lucas also deals with acting. Thus, she played in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Episode II – Attack of the Clones plus Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. She also appeared in the short film Ben and Holly.
As Katie spent her childhood and adolescence on the movie sets, she has some funny memories of those times. For instance, she shared that she had her first kiss while filming Attack of the Clones.
A curious fact: Katie can boast of two amazing godfathers, Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola. They are her dad’s old friends as well.
