Keely Shaye Brosnan (nee Smith) is a journalist, actress and environmental activist. She got into the spotlight thanks to her marriage to James Bond star Pierce Brosnan.
Hailing from Vallejo, California, Keely was raised alongside sister Aubrey Smith Duerr, who is now a hypnotherapist, esthetician and yoga instructor. Her father, whose name remains undisclosed, served in the US army and sparked his daughter’s love for Hawaii. Her mother Sharon Rose is frequently featured in Keely’s Instagram posts with the words of love and gratitude.
Keely Shaye Brosnan has a great experience of television work. She made reportages for NBC’s Unsolved Mysteries, ABC’s Good Morning America and The Home Show plus CBS’s Entertainment Tonight, hosted Great Bears for Outdoor Life Network and World Entertainment Report for HBO along with creating the Home Green Home series for PBS.
Additionally, Brosnan has acting credits in General Hospital series, Norman’s Corner and The Opponent films. In 1986, she appeared in Huey Lewis & The News music clip Stuck With You.

Keely and Pierce got acquainted at a beach party in Mexico in 1994. At that time, the actor was mourning the death of his wife Cassandra and the girl helped him to overcome the grief. Brosnan later shared that she became the strength he wouldn’t be able to live without.
On August 4, 2001, the sweethearts tied knots in Ireland, Pierce’s homeland. At that time, the spouses were already parents to two sons, Dylan (born in 1997) and Paris (born in 2004).
A curious fact: Keely is an avid gardener and organic farmer who is going to share her experience in a book titled Gourmet Gardener.
