Undoubtedly, Kevin Costner is one of the most respected representatives of the movie industry. He is the winner of 2 Oscars, 2 Golden Globes, 2 SAG Awards and Primetime Emmy.

Kevin was born to philanthropist Sharon and ditch digger William. He was raised alongside brother Daniel, an entrepreneur, while his other sibling Mark died being only 6 hours old. As a child, Costner showed his creative skills by playing a piano, writing verses and singing in the choir. However, prior to Hollywood success, he worked as a marketer.

In 1981, Kevin debuted on the big screen in Sizzle Beach, U.S.A. and gained recognition six years after starring in The Untouchables. His other notable credits include Dances with Wolves, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Bodyguard, A Perfect World, Hidden Figures plus Molly’s Game.

Besides, the celebrity directed Dances with Wolves, a film that brought him Oscars, The Postman and Open Range along with producing many of his projects. He also appeared on TV by playing in Hatfields & McCoys and Yellowstone series.

Kevin Costner’s other passion is music. He sings in a country rock band titled Kevin Costner & Modern West. It released 4 albums and performed at various events, including NASCAR. As an entrepreneur, Costner launched the manufacture of oil separation machines and opened an interactive center about America’s westward expansion called Tatanka: The Story of the Bison.

From 1978 to 1994, Kevin was married to Cindy Silva, a mother of his eldest children, Annie, Lily and Joe. In 1996, he fathered son Liam with Bridget Rooney, a woman he had a brief affair with. On September 25, the artist tied knots with Christine Baumgartner. Their elder son Cayden drew his first breath in 2007 and was followed by two siblings, brother Hayes and sister Grace.

A curious fact: Kevin is a skilled horseback rider and does all the tricks for his movies himself.
