Lisa Bonet loved acting since early childhood and at 16, she made a breakthrough thanks to portraying Denise Huxtable in The Cosby Show. She proceeded with playing in A Different World, Life on Mars, The Red Road and Ray Donovan television series.
Bonet made a big screen debut in 1987 movie Angel Heart and earned a Young Artist Award for it. She also had parts in Bank Robber, Final Combination, Enemy of the State, High Fidelity, Biker Boyz plus Road to Paloma movies. The performer also tried her hand at directing. For instance, she directed Stand By My Woman music video for Lenny Kravitz.
Lisa Bonet secretly tied knots with music artist Lenny Kravitz on November 16, 1987, in Las Vegas. She later revealed that she fell in love with him because they had a lot of similarities in their backgrounds. In 1988, the couple’s daughter Zoe drew her first breath. However, their marriage was dissolved in 1993. By the way, Bonet co-wrote some songs from Lenny’s debut album and served as an inspiration for some singles of his album Mama Said.
Soon after their divorce, Bonet officially altered her name to Lilakoi Moon to honor her personal life outside of that (as she stated). Nevertheless, she uses her birth name as stage name.
In 2005, Lisa got romantically involved with Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa, whom she met at a jazz club in LA. In 2007, their daughter Lola was born and in a year, she was joined by her brother Nakoa-Wolf. In October 2017, Jason and Lisa got hitched. By the way, Momoa revealed that Bonet was his childhood crush before they met but he didn’t tell her about that until their kids were born.
A curious fact: Lisa doesn’t have a TV at her home and has only one computer. Moreover, she never checks her phone in front of her children. Instead, the celebrity prefers to spend her free time outdoors during recreational activities with her family.
