Prince Nasir Dean is the eldest son of hip hop star Swizz Beatz and Nichole Levy. He is currently a student of NYU’s Tisch School of Arts and Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
Nasir followed in his dad’s footsteps and got engaged into music. By the way, he made that decision at 10 after Swizz gifted him his first beat machine. Being known under the stage name Marcato, he is a DJ who also deals with music production. The young man already produced IDK’s single Star and signed a deal with Epic Records.
Nasir is also involved into modeling, collaborating with Next Models Worldwide and Kadupul Management. In 2019, he made a runway debut at Paris Fashion Week, representing collection by Vigil Abloh. He also collaborated with Louis Vuitton and FENDI brands.
Moreover, in 2019, Nasir launched The Re-Drum Tech/Art Initiative, a program aspiring to provide adolescents and young adults in juvenile detention with opportunity to express themselves.
A curious fact: Nasir is in great relationship with his stepmother Alicia Keys. The star supports his creative aspirations and even shares his accomplishments on her social media.
