Nick Cannon is rather a versatile personality, who is engaged in the music industry along with building his career on TV and developing his acting skills.
He started rapping in his teenage years and was a member of a rap band. In 2003, Nick presented the eponymous debut album, which was followed by another one, White People Party Music, in 2014. In 2011, the artist released his first mixtape Child of the Corn. Moreover, he collaborated with other musicians like Future, Pitbull and R.Kelly. Cannon is also an owner of N’Credible Entertainment company.
In 1998, Nick Cannon first appeared on TV in All That series. Though, he is most famed for hosting The Nick Cannon Show, America’s Got Talent, Wild’N Out shows plus having a part in Real Husbands of Hollywood. Additionally, the celebrity is a creative consultant and a chairman of TeenNick channel for which he created the Incredible Crew series.
In 2000, Cannon made a feature film debut in Whatever It Takes. He proceeded with playing in Love Don’t Cost a Thing, Drumline, Roll Bounce, Bobby, American Son plus The Killing Room. He also tried his hand at directing in School Gyrls, School Dance and King of the Dancehall movies.
On April 30, 2008, Nick tied knots with music artist Mariah Carey. In 2011, they welcomed their twins: daughter Monroe and son Moroccan. However, the family idyll didn’t last long and the couple called it quits in 2014. In 2016, their marriage was officially dissolved but the former spouses remained in good relations to co-parent their children. In 2017, Cannon’s son Golden drew his first breath. His mother is model Brittany Bell.
A curious fact: being a teenager, Cannon was a part of a street gang.
