Ulrich Alexander Fox, who is more known as Rick Fox, is a former basketball player. He started his professional path in 1991 with being a player of Boston Celtics. In 1997, Fox joined the Los Angeles Lakers. He earned three NBA titles in 2000-2002 before his retirement in 2004. The athlete also represented Canada internationally at the 1990 and 1994 World Championships.
Rick is also engaged into esports. In 2015, he founded Echo Sports, a team competing in various games, including Call of Duty and Mortal Kombat. However, in 2019, it stopped functioning. The same year, Fox founded another company titled XFOX.
Moreover, Rick Fox deals with acting. He made a movie debut in Blue Chips in 1994 and proceeded with having parts in Resurrection, Meet the Browns and Krystal. In 1997, Fox first appeared on TV in an episode of Head Over Hills. However, he is most famed for playing in Oz, One Tree Hill, Dirt, The Game, House of Payne, Single Ladies, Mr. Box Office, Hit the Floor, K.C. Undercover plus Greenleaf series. He also competed at Dancing with the Stars season 11.
In the early 1990s, Rick was in a relationship with Kari Hillsman. In 1993, they welcomed their son Kyle. He was later introduced to Vanessa Williams by his former girlfriend Tyra Banks, whom he shortly dated in 1992. The lovebirds eloped in the Caribbean in the summer of 1999 and had an official ceremony in New York on September 26. In 2000, their daughter Sasha drew her first breath. However, their marriage was dissolved in 2004. In 2009-2014, Fox was romantically linked to actress Eliza Dushku.
