Salma Hayek got engaged into professional acting in 1989 by having the lead part in Mexican telenovela Teresa. In the early 1990s, she moved to Hollywood and gained her first big screen part in 1993 movie Mi Vida Loca. However, Salma got wider recognition after playing in Desperado.
Hayek achieved the worldwide fame plus critical acclaim thanks to starring in Frida in 2002. She is also famed for her parts in From Dusk Till Dawn, Wild Wild West, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, After the Sunset, Bandidas, Grown Ups, Tale of Tales, The Hitman’s Bodyguard and Drunk Parents. In 2009, Salma tied knots with entrepreneur Francois-Henri Pinault after he popped the question in 2007. Moreover, in 2007, their daughter Valentina drew her first breath.
A curious fact: when the performer was a little girl, her grandmom regularly shaved her head plus eyebrows being sure that it would make Salma’s hair thicker, glossier and darker.
