Being a daughter of legendary actor Eugene Levy and his spouse Deborah Divine, Sarah Levy has always wanted to follow in her dad’s footsteps and deal with acting professionally.
Sarah drew her first breath in Toronto, Canada, and was raised there as Eugene didn’t want to bring up his kids in Hollywood. She studied theater at Dalhousie University and in 2005, the girl was her father’s assistant on the set of Cheaper by the Dozen 2.
Sarah Levy made a professional acting debut on Canadian television in XIII: The Series and proceeded with appearing in Working the Engels, Baroness Von Sketch Show plus United We Fall series. Additionally, she had a small part in the Larry Crowne film. However, she is most famed for portraying Twyla Sands on Schitt’s Creek show, where she played alongside Eugene and her elder brother Daniel.
In 2020, it was announced that Levy will star in Distancing Socially movie, a COVID-inspired project about the challenges of relationships during the lockdown.
Sarah currently resides in Los Angeles with her partner Graham Outerbridge and two dogs named Georgie and Mac. In 2019, she showed her home in a tour for Gray Malin website.
A curious fact: Sarah wasn’t able to be present at 2020 Emmy Awards but watched the ceremony online. She later posted a funny video on her social media featuring her reactions to the multiple awards her show, Schitt’s Creek, gained that night.
