Scott Foley gained prominence thanks to starring in a number of television shows. Hailing from Kansas City, Scott is a son of Constance, who passed away when he was 15, and Hugh Foley, a banker. The future star as well as his two younger brothers, including actor Sean Foley, used to live in Japan and Australia due to their dad’s business before returning to the US and settling in St. Louis.
In 1995, Scott landed his first television role in an episode of Sweet Valley High and by the end of the decade, he was already a star thanks to portraying Noel Crane in Felicity series. Among the performer’s other TV credits are Scrubs, The Unit, Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood, Scandal and Whiskey Cavalier. He also tried his hand at directing episodes of Felicity and Scandal.
Scott Foley first appeared on the big screen in the 2000 movie Scream 3 and made a Broadway debut in the 2003 production of The Violet Hour. Afterwards, he embarked on parts in Stealing Time, Below and Naked films. In 2013, Foley directed Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife film starring him, his spouse Marika, sister-in-law Dagmara Domińczyk and her husband Patrick Wilson.
On October 19, 2000, Foley got hitched to Jennifer Garner after meeting her on the set of Felicity. However, the family idyll didn’t last long and the spouses called it quits in 2003. The marriage was officially dissolved in 2004.
On June 5, 2007, Scott tied knots with actress Marika Dominczyk. Their firstborn daughter Malina drew her first breath in 2009 and was followed by brothers Keller in 2012 and Konrad in 2014.
A curious fact: Scott still keeps his Scream 3 character’s mask and wears it each Halloween.
