Sterling Skye Mahomes is Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews’ daughter. The news about Brittany’s pregnancy was announced in September 2020 and in February 2021, this little princess drew her first breath weighing 6 pounds and 11 ounces.
Soon after Sterling arrived, Patrick and Brittany shared her first photo on their social media. The photo featured a tiny hand in her mom’s hands. Moreover, Matthews had a necklace featuring her daughter’s name on it.
When Sterling was less than one month old, her father’s alma mater Texas Tech offered her a soccer scholarship for the recruiting class of 2039.
A curious fact: before Sterling’s birth, her parents discovered the baby’s gender at a Zoom party. The couple’s dogs had their paws painted pink and left the imprints on the white cloth while walking towards their owners.
