Tameka Foster is a stylist who collaborated with such artists as Jay-Z, Ciara, Toni Braxton and Nas. She is also famed for being an ex-spouse of Usher.
Tameka fell in love with fashion in childhood when she worked at her aunt’s boutique. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. At the dawn of her career, Foster was a dresser at Giorgio Armani’s fashion shows and later, she started to work with celebrities. She also worked for MTV, E! and Access Hollywood as well as collaborated with Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Glamour, Esquire and GQ magazines.
Moreover, Tameka Foster is an interior stylist, an author of book White Bras 101 + Other Style Faux Pas and an entrepreneur selling custom vintage jackets under her brand CultDeJour. She appeared on TV on Atlanta Exes, The Real and The Doctors series.
Additionally, Tameka dedicates much time to philanthropy. She established Oakland Natives Giveback and The Lost Ones Foundation. She also launched a foundation in honor of her late son Kile and created animated series The Odd Life of Kile Lyles.

In 2005, Tameka got romantically involved with music artist Usher after serving as his stylist for some time. They got hitched on August 3, 2007, and had a wedding reception on September 1. In 2007, they welcomed their son Usher. And in 2008, their youngest son Naviyd drew his first breath. In 2009, Usher and Tameka broke up.
A curious fact: in 2009, Foster planned a liposuction on her stomach in Brazil. However, she had a cardiac arrest after getting the general anesthesia. She was placed in an induced coma for some time to aid her recovery.
