Taylor Goldsmith is famed for his music. In 2002, he and Blake Mills founded Simon Dawes band and released album Carnivore in 2006. After Mills left, Taylor got together with other musicians creating Dawes. They presented a debut album titled North Hills in 2009 and proceeded with making 6 more records.
Besides, Goldsmith recorded one album as a part of Middle Brother group and was featured on Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes album. He produced Jonny Fritz’s Dad Country record and created songs for some of his colleagues, including Mandy Moore, Robert Ellis and Conor Oberst.
Taylor and Mandy Moore got romantically involved in 2015. Everything started when Mandy shared a photo of his band’s album on Instagram and the artist contacted her to thank. Goldsmith popped the question in 2017 and espoused his sweetheart on November 18, 2018, at a low-key ceremony in a boho chic style. In 2021, the spouses welcomed son August.
A curious fact: while Taylor sings and plays a guitar in his band, his brother Griffin plays drums there.
