Ted Danson

Ted Danson is a television star who earned 2 Primetime Emmys, 3 Golden Globes and Award. He was brought up in San Diego, CA, by archeologist Edward and his spouse Jessica alongside elder sister Jan.

Danson first appeared on TV in the Somerset series in 1975 and gained fame in the 1980s thanks to starring in Cheers. Afterwards, he embarked on parts in dozens of other television projects, including Becker, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Help Me Help You, Damages, Bored to Death, CSI, Fargo and The Good Place.

Ted Danson has some big screen credits as well. His first movie was The Onion Field in 1979. However, he is most recognized for playing in Three Men and a Baby, Dad, Made in America, Getting Even with Dad, Pontiac Moon plus The One I Love.

Additionally, Ted is an environmentalist and a co-founder of the American Oceans Campaign that aspires to warn the US citizens about their impact on the ocean. In 2011, he co-wrote a book on that issue titled Oceana.

In 1970-1975, Danson was married to Randy Gosch. On July 30, 1977, he espoused Cassandra Coates. In 1979, they welcomed daughter Kate and in 1987, the spouses adopted another girl named Alexis. In 1993, Casey and Ted’s marriage was dissolved because of the man’s romantic involvement with Whoopi Goldberg that lasted from 1992 to 1993. And on October 7, 1995, the celebrity tied knots with his current wife, Mary Steenburgen.

A curious fact: Ted is in a good relationship with Bill and Hillary Clinton. The former president was a guest at Danson’s nuptials with Mary as well as celebrated his 51th birthday at their vineyard.
