Bio

Willard Carroll Smith III is a son of Will Smith and his first spouse Sheree Zampino. He shares the same name with his dad and in order to avoid any confusion, he is called Trey.

Trey is a DJ and an electronic music producer who uses stage name AcE. In 2002, he presented the song Find You Somewhere, a collaborative work with his half-brother Jaden and Will. By the way, the video for that song was directed by Jada Pinkett-Smith. Moreover, Trey produced Willow Smith’s song Why Don’t You Cry.

Trey Smith also tried his hand at acting. He appeared in All of Us TV series. Additionally, he was a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the David Blaine: Real or Magic TV special.

Moreover, Trey served as a source of inspiration for his famed father. Will’s Just the Two of Us song is about him. He even appeared in the music video for that single. And Smith’s company Treyball Development was also named in honor of Trey.

After Will’s marriage with Sheree was dissolved, his relationship with Trey became pretty tense. The boy felt betrayed and abandoned. They struggled for many years before reconciling and becoming best friends. Today, the both are very supportive of each other. Trey frequently accompanies his dad to various events. Thus, he supported Will at the premieres of Aladdin and Bad Boys For Life.

A curious fact: while studying at Oaks Christian High School, Trey was a part of a football team. Being a skilled player, he was offered a scholarship by FCS Northern Arizona. But the young man declined the offer as he wanted to concentrate on his music career.
