Usher “Cinco” Raymond V is an elder son of music artist Usher and stylist Tameka Foster. He shares the same name with his dad, grandfather and two more ancestors on his dad’s side.
Cinco suffers from Type 1 diabetes. He is described by his mom as a selfless, analytical and extremely generous boy. Tameka shared that one Halloween Usher gave all his candies to a homeless person. Moreover, at the airport, he gave his toy to another child. The boy is also good at mathematics and loves playing video games.
In 2013, Usher nearly drowned in a pool at his father’s house. His arm got stuck in a pool drain while he was attempting to retrieve a toy. He was saved by the contractors working in the house. Tameka wanted to gain custody after the accident, but the music star retained primary custody.
A curious fact: Cinco’s dad didn’t participate in One Love Manchester benefit concert to be next to his son on his first day at Camp Kudzu, a camp for kids with diabetes, as it was very important for the boy.
